Kara earned her BA in English and American Studies from Colby-Sawyer College. She is currently working toward her MA from Middlebury College and has studied at Oxford University. After teaching high school English for a year, she transitioned to the world of publishing via an internship for CJLA. She now works closely with the CJLA agents on selling foreign rights for current agency titles.
