Kevin Zimmerman

For over 20 years, Kevin Zimmerman has worked as a professional entertainment journalist and editor, interviewed everyone from Tony Bennett, Tori Amos, and Spike Lee to members of Abba, Evanescence, and Run-DMC. Kevin has served as music editor for Variety, as freelanced for music magazines Spin, Spy, and Musician. He elected to move to full-time freelancing after 5 years at Variety, and in 2005 began pursuing his dream of script development and writing fiction. He has since written scripts for popular soap operas on CBS and ABC, including Guiding Lightand One Life to Live. Kevin resides in Connecticut with his wife and their three-year-old son, who is himself a devoted fan of the Beatles, James Brown, the Rolling Stones, Mozart, and the Backyardigans, among many others. He's currently at work on his YA novel, Libra Rising.
