Yechiel Goldreich

 

 

Rabbi Yechiel Goldreich grew up in Toronto, Canada, and earned his BA in History from Yeshiva University, an MS in Jewish Education from Azreili Graduate Institute, and a Certificate in Counseling from George Brown College. He served as the Assistant Rabbi of Shaarei Shomayim, Toronto’s largest Orthodox congregation, and has recently rejoined the shul he grew up at, Congregation Bnai Torah. Rabbi Goldreich also teaches Talmud at the Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto and is a contributing writer to the Canadian Jewish News’ Rabbinic Reflections column. He lives in Toronto with his wife, Simma, and their four daughters, Ayalah, Malka, Shira, and Rivka. He's currently at work on his short story collection, Sharks in the Mikva.
